Job Summary: Take customer calls, prepare bids, verify information, enter work ticket, schedule order, process credit applications, and make customer survey, customer follow up, and outgoing sales calls. This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
Essential Functions:
· Prepare bid from customer call.
· Calculate and write order.
· Schedule order and follow-up with customer upon completion.
· Maintain clean and safe work area.
· Use resources provided by the company to identify new customers and/or job opportunities.
· Perform other duties and/or tasks as instructed or assigned.
Qualifications: Must be efficient in communication, verbally and in writing and possess computer skills. Will be answering phones, quoting rental material for special events and construction sites, follow up to get quote approvals, necessary documents to set account up, entering sales tickets and assisting customer with the delivery. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education and/or Experience: High School diploma or General Education Development certificate (GED) and one to two years customer service, billing, and payment collections related experience or training.
Skills and Abilities: Familiar in the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and Windows. Requires regular contact both inside and outside the company that may occasionally involve difficult negotiations. Requires working from detailed instructions. Requires occasional decision-making. Assignments require general guidance in planning, scheduling and arranging. Ability to respond to common inquiries or complaints from managers, customers, and other employees. Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Ability to apply common-sense understanding to carry out detailed written and oral instructions.
