POSITION TITLE: Coordinator of Doula Programs
REPORTS TO: Director of Women’s Health Department
STATUS: Non-exempt position, 35 hours per week

Our mission is to provide high quality, comprehensive, culturally appropriate health, immigration, and social support services to our diverse community. Our programs aim to improve the well-being of individuals, strengthen families, and empower communities and are uniquely designed to provide comprehensive, integrated, culturally appropriate and coordinated “one-stop” service.
JOB SUMMARY: One of our service offerings include free doula services to low-income families across NYC. Our doulas provide full-spectrum support to clients, supporting them during prenatal, labor and delivery, and postpartum. We are seeking a passionate, motivated individual to join our Women’s Health Department as a Doula Programs Coordinator. The Doula Programs Coordinator will be responsible for day-to-day administration of our doula programs.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Administrative support
- Conduct intake with potential clients referred to the organization for doula services
- Maintain administration of internal client and doula databases, including data entry, tracking and follow up as needed
- Assist with matching clients to doulas on a weekly basis
- Manage and respond to incoming client calls, referring them internally or providing them with relevant external resources as needed
- Help facilitate virtual monthly meetings with doulas by preparing agendas, preparing Zoom, assisting with taking attendance, participate in discussions, etc.
- Follow up with clients after services are complete to determine satisfaction and provide additional resources/information as needed
Community partner outreach & events
- Coordinate CWHA tabling at community events
- Assist with logistics of in-house doula events and other events as needed
Doula services marketing & communications
- Assist with creating social media materials and posts
- Assist with writing content for flyers and newsletters
- Coordinate updates to website as information becomes updated
- Maintain organizational archives of communications by designated categories
Financials
- Perform basic bookkeeping tasks including overview of invoice paperwork for doulas, processing of invoices to submit to financial team, running financial reports, assisting with annual audit, etc.
Additional Tasks
- Take on additional tasks as directed by the Executive Team or Doula Programs Coordinator.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of two years of experience working in a corporate or nonprofit work environment in a program administrative position combined with complementary education is preferred.

- Proof of COVID- 19 vaccination is required
- Strong data entry skills; experience with data entry/Salesforce or other similar database software programs
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook; knowledge of databases such as local shared drives and SharePoint a plus
- Confidence using technology and social media to complete tasks; experience using Doodle, Calendly, Zoom, Facebook, YouTube and/or a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work as a team member
- Solid written and oral communication skills and excellent phone etiquette
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize in a dynamic work environment
- Ability to develop effective work plans, organize details, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Ability to operate and troubleshoot standard office equipment
- Availability to work on evenings and weekends as required
- Familiarity with doula services and/or maternal and child health a plus
- The ability to speak Spanish and/or Haitian Creole is a plus
