Our Building Services division is a rapidly growing General Contracting firm, with multiple projects throughout Massachusetts. We are seeking a motivated, team player to join our team as Assistant Construction Project Manager. In this role, you will serve as a key member of our Construction Management Team, reporting directly to the Vice President of Omni Building Services.
Typical Duties of an Assistant Construction Project Manager:
- Monitor activities of subcontractors on the job site
- Assist in the preparation of detailed estimates
- Assist in the management of all aspects of construction projects
- Attendance of project meetings and preparation of meeting notes
- Preparation of permit applications
- Track and manage project submittals and changes
- Prepare project schedule and manage deadlines
- Assist with estimation and bidding process
- Create and oversee punch list completion
- Preparation of close-out documents
- Effectively communicate project progress to key stakeholders
Qualifications:
- 1 to 3+ years of construction experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management/Project Management, or related field is preferred, but not required
- Ability to work in diverse conditions completing a variety of tasks
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Project and Outlook)
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have reliable transportation and be willing to work on job sites, when required
