Position Overview
The position requires good communication, customer service skills, minimal computer skills, detail oriented, and organized. Main responsibilities will be taking water orders over the telephone or in person and entering the orders into the water computer program.
Weekends and holidays are required.
Primary Job Functions
Utilize computer literacy skills to navigate software programs and databases.
Answer phones and greet clients professionally and with courtesy.
Take, input, and record customer orders and information for current and new accounts.
Research location information to create new accounts and update current accounts.
Create, print, and file reports for water department.
Type and email correspondence.
Receive, handle, log customer payments, and perform basic water accounting duties.
Print and mail water customer statements.
Operate office equipment such as Xerox copiers, scanners, faxes, phones, and computer
Prepare water orders and schedules for the water crew.

Education and/ or Experience
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred for this position.
Minimal Excel and Microsoft Word experience is a plus.
We do on the job training.
Preferred Abilities
Knowledge of phone systems and handling incoming calls effectively.
Organizational skills, attention to detail, multitasking, problem resolution, and proactiveness are essential.
Comprehend, calculate, read, write, and analyze information and basic math.
Receive and present information to and from managers, customers, partnering companies, etc.
Work Environment
Ability to adapt to workflow pace, noise level changes, and office occupancy as all of these may vary periodically.
Physical Requirements
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, stand, kneel, crouch, use hands to fingers (mainly for typing), occasionally handle or lift up to 20 pounds, speak clearly, hear, and see.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $15.35 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
