The number one priority is to be THE SPLATTER STUDIO EXPERIENCE to our clients, our team and our community. You are the example and regulator of the energy your studio maintains and permeates. You are the face of THE SPLATTER STUDIO’s excellent customer service standard and your top goal is to form connections with new and existing clients, staff and collaborative partners. Studio operations will be managed by this team member with the support of the Owner Manager.
In more details, this looks like:
- Enhancing the “THE SPLATTER STUDIO” client experience every step of the way.
- Developing and maintaining collaborative business relationships with THE SPLATTER STUDIO team members.
- Developing and deploying studio operations programs to drive business in collaboration with the Owner Manager.
- Working with the Owner Manager to establish best practice policies that align with THE SPLATTER STUDIO way.
- Leading and tracking results associated with projects/strategies to identify opportunities and trends associated with increasing growth and impacting the business objectives.
The Assistant Manager ensures that The Splatter Studio culture is present and evident in all client, team and community interactions while ensuring the daily operations of the studio are on track and aligned with THE SPLATTER STUDIO’s expectations.
This position is client, staff and experience focused. This position is to remain highly organized and manage the studio team and schedule, ensuring clients are having a fun experience. This position works collaboratively with the Owner Manager and is a leader of THE SPLATTER STUDIO experience in the studio. They are integral to the overall success of THE SPLATTER STUDIO.
OPERATIONAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Oversees the studio team, which includes hiring, training, and management in conjunction with the Manager.
- Manages and oversees staff scheduling and hourly payroll and maintains the labor budget KPI (incl. tips when applicable).
- Oversees the training and integration of new products, pricing or policy updates with studio team
- Keeps the studio supplied with necessary tools and equipment by doing weekly inventory in conjunction with the Manager.
- Ensures all available add-on offerings are present and the studio team is trained on the best and most effective practices of selling, product pricing and checkout procedures.
- Supports ownership with special projects and events
- Ensures studio functional tasks are completed daily while looking forward and preparing for upcoming events.
- Manages inbound requests/emails for special events and/or partnerships opportunities
- Drives session, party and add-on sales as well as customer experience goals to meet KPI’s
- Fills in as an emergency team sub as needed at any area location.
- Keeps an ongoing pulse of community happenings to ensure The Splatter Studio stays on top of possible opportunities and/or collaborations.
- Complies with ABC requirements in order to serve and manage the Bar.

REPORTING
This role reports directly to the Owner Manager.
Role Requirements and expectations are not exhaustive and are subject to change. This is a full time position that requires flexibility to meet studio needs and works a varying minimum 40 hour work week schedule.
