Job Summary: Dental Assitant with Front Desk experience
We are seeking a personable and skilled Dental Assistant who excels in communication and can seamlessly transition between front office duties and clinical assistance. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing high-quality patient care, a friendly demeanor, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Duties:
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures.
- Prepare and organize dental instruments, materials, and equipment.
- Ensure patient comfort before, during, and after dental procedures.
- Take and develop dental radiographs (x-rays).
- Maintain a sterile and clean working environment in accordance with infection control protocols.
- Perform basic laboratory tasks, such as pouring, trimming, and polishing models.
- Provide postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.
- Record treatment information in patient records.
Front Office Duties:
- Greet and welcome patients with a friendly and professional demeanor.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments.
- Manage patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Answer phone calls and address patient inquiries.
- Coordinate patient flow to minimize waiting times.

Communication and Teamwork:
- Communicate effectively with patients, explaining procedures and addressing any concerns.
- Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient workflow and optimal patient care.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, postoperative care, and preventive dental care.
- Assist in managing the dental office's social media presence and patient communications.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or diploma from an accredited dental assisting program preferred.
- Current CPR certification.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in dental software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in all aspects of the job.
