Job Title: Shipping and Receiving Clerk III

Position Overview:
Under direct supervision, this position supports the Supply Chain department by performing all duties related to outbound and inbound shipping as well as receiving incoming shipments and tracking inventory. The Shipping and Receiving Clark III will utilize ERP software to process receipts and shipments for order fulfillment. This role will ensure compliance with all company processes, requirements and shipping regulations and communicate with cross-functional departments.
Functions:

Assembles orders and prepares goods for shipment. Receives, unpacks, inspects and stores incoming materials and supplies.

Uses shipping records to verify the accuracy of incoming and outgoing shipments and orders.

Documents damages and discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation.

Works independently within established procedures associated with the specific job function.

Packs, labels, and prepares orders and goods for shipment for customer orders and internal requests. Collaborates with production, sales, quality, and supply chain team to verify all necessary documentation is in place before shipment.

Schedules parcel and freight shipment, including both domestic and international shipments and assisting with customs documentation as necessary. Works with carriers to resolve shipment disputes, clear customs holds, and file freight claims to promote on time delivery.

Receives incoming materials and supplies according to logistics procedures.

Responsible for initial inspection of package and documenting any damages or discrepancies for future reimbursement and reconciliation.

Collaborates with Supply Chain Manager to complete cycle counts, track inventory and keep accurate records in ERP.

Communicates directly with carriers, suppliers, customers, Sales, and other departments to coordinate logistics.

Assists with loading and unloading trucks and moving inventory within the warehouse with a Forklift and/or Pallet jack.

Ships Lithium-Ion Batteries in a variety of speeds and formats while remaining compliant with all applicable transportation regulations.

Maintains a clean, safe, and accessible receiving and stockroom area to maximize productivity.

REQUIREMENTS
Education & Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and experience.

3-5 years of related experience.

Experience working with shipping carriers, scheduling shipments, tracking orders, and logging receipts.

Data entry experience required.

Preferred:
-
HazMat shipping experience or certification preferred.

Experience operating forklift desired.

Forklift certification preferred.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities (KSAs):

Possesses working knowledge of computer programs for data entry, or ERP systems.
