MARKETING & COMMUNICATIONS COORDINATOR

Position Summary:
Goodwill is seeking a Marketing and Communications Coordinator to play a crucial role in supporting the
Development and Communications department in its communications, event planning, volunteer services,
and community engagement initiatives. Reporting directly to the Manager of Marketing and
Communications, this position calls for an individual with strong organizational and communication skills, a
genuine enthusiasm for connecting individuals with the Goodwill mission, and the capacity to handle various
projects efficiently within deadlines. Goodwill is looking for a collaborative, hardworking team member who
will also have fun along the way.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Responsible for working closely with the Manager of Marketing and Communications to
successfully execute Goodwill’s annual fundraising event, THE LUNCH.
Support internal event planning in alignment with the Goodwill Culture and
Communications Calendar.
Serve as point person for attending corporate events, nonprofit fairs, and other
community-oriented opportunities to represent Goodwill and promote our mission.
Responsible for managing Goodwill’s Volunteer Program and special projects to increase
community engagement.
Assist with writing copy and reviewing grammar for social media posts and publications,
such as the Board Directory, Annual Report, quarterly newsletters, Goodwill TV, etc.
Assist with website maintenance and updating content on social media platforms.
Monitor and respond to incoming DMs and comments to ensure positive engagement.
Responsible for capturing photo and video content at internal and external events.
Maintain the marketing department's library, including organization of files/records, photos/videos,
photo release forms, bios/profiles, events, calendars, shared inbox, etc.
Support graphic creation in coordination with the graphic designer using tools such as
Canva and Adobe.
