Job Title: Vaccine Manufacturing Technician
Position
Summary: The Vaccine Manufacturing Technician is responsible for assisting in the production of personalized immunological patient vaccines for FDA sanctioned clinical trials. This role requires strict adherence to safety protocols and regulatory guidelines to ensure the safe and effective delivery of vaccines to patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assists in the production of personalized immunological cancer vaccines.
- Performs quality control testing on patient samples.
- Prepares vaccines for distribution, including labeling, packaging, and storage.
- Receives, labels and stores patient samples.
- Actively participates in quality and process improvements.
- Maintains device logs and daily temperature checks.
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels of vaccines and related supplies.
- Maintain accurate records of vaccine preparation, distribution, and inventory.
- Cleans and maintains cleanrooms and equipment.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines.
General Requirements:
- Laboratory experience
- Basic microscopy knowledge
- Knowledge of aseptic technique
- Knowledge of universal precautions in handling blood/tissue specimens
Job Location: Greenville, SC
Education: Laboratory experience and diploma/certifications preferred.
Hours: Part time, 20-25 hours/week, Monday - Thursday
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $30.00 - $38.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 25 per week
