Position Overview:
As the Group Director of Sales and Marketing, you will lead all sales and marketing activities across our entire diverse portfolio. This executive role is designed for a results-driven, entrepreneurial leader with a strong background in luxury or boutique hospitality. You are responsible for achieving revenue and profit targets, expanding our market presence, cultivating a loyal customer base, and staying abreast of digital and AI sales and marketing trends.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and drive all sales initiatives, ensuring a consistent, high-quality approach across all properties.
- Generate revenue, establish new accounts, and secure repeat business by actively engaging with clients through proposals, negotiations, and contract closings.
- Develop and implement innovative experiences and promotions during need periods to maximize revenue.
- Organize and participate in client familiarization trips, site inspections, and sales trips to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Maintain precise and up-to-date knowledge of all our products and services, as well as those of key competitors and industry trends.
- Ensure the sales team prioritizes and segments its efforts effectively to focus on both maintaining relationships with current accounts and aggressively establishing new client contacts.
- Produce accurate management reports on business results and actionable plans to address areas of concern.
Qualifications Essentials:
- Excellent verbal and written proficiency in English.
- Minimum of three years’ experience as a Sales and Marketing Director, preferably in the luxury or boutique hotel sector.
- Proficient in computer skills, including MS Office, Delphi, and hotel management software like Opera.
- Demonstrated ability to achieve business goals.
- Ability to multi-task with strong time management skills.
Desirable Qualifications:
- Prior sales experience within an international luxury hotel environment.
- Proficiency in one or two additional languages beyond English, enhancing communication with a diverse clientele.
- Exceptional knowledge of current marketing techniques and platforms
