Job Summary
We are an independent insurance agency seeking an Insurance Processor to be responsible for processing accurate, professional insurance forms & documents and to provide support to other staff members. This position is expected to work hand in hand with the Account Managers, but also to work independently at times and be problem solvers.
Responsibilities and Duties
Some of the duties include but aren’t limited to:
- Answer incoming customer calls
- Maintaining and updating client data base
- Verify Policy Information
- Verify Account Information
- Some billing functions & correspondence with accounting
- Process policy changes & maintenance
- Processing incoming and outgoing mail
- Perform scanning, document storage, etc.
- Consistent activity log
- Maintain current suspense log
- Proficient use of Agency Management System & Integrating software knowledge
- Excel spreadsheet creation and maintenance
Candidate will also be required to obtain their P&C insurance license within the first 90 days of employment.
