Schedule: 36 hours variable start times/shift w/every other weekend rotation

The Staff Registered Nurse will be responsible for:
- Providing care for patients throughout procedural services
- Supporting the Procedural Float Pool specialty, the designated staff nurse:
- Prepares patients for procedures and provides post procedure and extended recovery care for inpatient and ambulatory populations.
- The rotation will include, but not limited to, pre/intra/post procedure Interventional Radiology, Endoscopy, Extended Recovery, Outpatient Infusion Center, Cardiac Rehab, and Pain Management Center.
- Working collaboratively to provide excellent care to patients and families in the safest environment.
To qualify you must have:
- Education: Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts. For newly licensed nurses a Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing is required.
- Experience:
- Post Anesthesia Care/Procedural Recovery Unit experience preferred.
- Emergency Department or Intensive Care Unit preferred.
- Intravenous skill experience preferred.
- BLS and ACLS required.
- Other: Membership in professional organizations is recommended and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
- Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract
