Citizens Memorial Healthcare Foundation (CMH) is recruiting an Environmental Services Worker.
Parkview Health Care Facility (PVHCF) is a 78-bed long-term skilled nursing facility. A 15-bed memory care unit meets the specific needs of individuals with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia.
Description of department: You work with three housekeepers from 7:00a.m. – 3:00p.m. Workers are assigned a hall or two to clean daily. The team will include a laundry worker, floor finisher and the Environmental Services Director. There is also an evening housekeeper from 2:00p.m. – 10:00p.m.
A typical day will include: Cleaning all resident rooms that are on the hall you are assigned to using the seven step cleaning process. You are responsible for cleaning all extra storage closets, shower rooms, day areas and offices on that particular hall. Workers will also be in charge of cleaning a dining room. You are expected to clean a bed daily and you will be required to move the furniture out away from the wall and sweep and mop behind them. The evening housekeeper is responsible for cleaning all public restrooms and main areas of the building. They clean the Rehab offices, dining room, kitchen, and laundry area.
The position is Part Time, Rotating hours may vary 7:00a.m-3:00p.m
