We are seeking a passionate, results-driven sales leader with a proven track record within the ATL Airport market to join our team as the Dual Director of Sales for our two airport hotels (Holiday Inn Express ATL Airport North & Comfort Suites ATL Airport). The ideal candidate will thrive on achieving excellence, delivering outstanding hospitality, and driving sales performance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Lead and manage the sales team to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
- Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Sales Strategies: Develop and implement strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth.
- Community Engagement: Actively engage with the local community to promote the hotel and generate business.
- Brand Standards: Ensure consistency and adherence to IHG brand standards in all sales activities.
- Reporting: Provide accurate and timely sales reports, forecasts, and budget information.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the General Manager and other departments to ensure seamless operations and guest satisfaction.
Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum 1 year in a sales leadership role within the hotel industry.
- Community Engagement: Strong involvement in local sales and community activities.
- Communication: Positive and effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Sales Skills: Proven track record in achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Technical Skills: Competence in Word and Excel; ability to create and manage sales reports and forecasts.
- Flexibility: Willingness to travel for client meetings and industry events as needed.
- Preferred Qualifications: Opera knowledge and IHG Sales Certification preferred.
