As a CPI Software Engineer I, you will occupy a key role in working with and for a company that builds the physical infrastructure that powers, protects and secures the world’s digital technology. Day to day, the position will require these engineering efforts include development of product firmware and automated testing frameworks. The Software Engineer will possess a solid foundation in engineering principles, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a record of delivering high-quality results.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Conduct comprehensive research, analysis, and evaluations to develop engineering designs, plans, and specifications.
- Design, prototype, and test engineering systems, components, or structures, employing sound engineering principles and methodologies.
- Perform detailed calculations, simulations, and modeling to optimize engineering designs and ensure adherence to safety and regulatory standards.
- Identify and resolve technical issues or challenges during the design, development, and implementation phases, ensuring project timelines and objectives are met.
- Create and maintain accurate documentation, including technical drawings, specifications, and project reports.
- Collaborate with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders to source materials, equipment, or services necessary for project implementation.
- Participate in design reviews, technical meetings, and project status updates.
- Stay updated with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in engineering practices, and leverage this knowledge to enhance project outcomes.
