Primary Purpose:
Utilize the CASE for Kids Quality Framework to assist in the development, implementation and ongoing evaluation of CASE resources. Guide the annual process to incorporate evidence/research-based curriculum, afterschool best practices and school-day alignment into CASE projects. Help clients navigate CASE resource portfolio and develop resource management plans to support CASE-funded special projects. Provide resources, trainings and technical support to CASE program staff and sites to ensure overall alignment to the CASE for Kids Quality Framework in programs.
Qualifications:
Education/Certification:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field from an accredited university

Master’s degree in education and/or curriculum development preferred

Strong communication, interpersonal, and teambuilding skills

Strong oral and written skills
-
Demonstrated ability to model effective teacher practices and lesson plan development Knowledge of local, state, and national k-12 education standards

Ability to work collaboratively with multi-disciplinary team
Experience:
-
Minimum of 3 years of providing technical support to client groups

Minimum of 2 years of curriculum design and development

Experience developing and facilitating training
Major Responsibilities and Duties:
-
Coordinate the integration of research and curriculum into CASE services that aligns with the CASE Quality Framework.

Provide guidance to CASE staff and CASE clients related to literacy, numeracy and SEL integration in afterschool programs and CASE services

Develop a process to integrate and document evidence/research-based curriculum for CASE projects.

Coordinate the alignment of CASE SMART Zone and CASE curriculum-based purchases with the CASE for Kids Quality Framework and annual needs assessment.

Coordinate the training of CASE staff and clients in CASE curriculum-based initiatives and host professional development opportunities for CASE staff to keep abreast of local, state, and national education trends and alignment with afterschool best practices and research.

Identify, cultivate, and conduct outreach efforts to develop increased participation in CASE services.

Assist in the Division’s needs assessment process to assess client need.

Coordinate the client Quality Initiatives including but not limited to the Out-2-Learn Network and the Afterschool Sustainability Initiative.

Participate in training, technical assistance, and on-site coaching at CASE-supported sites and with community providers.

Develop and administer training and community presentations.

Perform other duties as assigned.
