We are seeking a skilled Service Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will oversee the service department, ensuring efficient operations and exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily service operations, including scheduling, quality control, and customer satisfaction.
- Supervise service technicians and provide guidance on complex repairs.
- Conduct performance evaluations and provide training to enhance team skills.
- Monitor inventory levels and order supplies as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve overall service efficiency.
- Handle customer inquiries and complaints in a professional manner.
- Uphold safety standards and ensure compliance with regulations.
Qualifications:
- Experience in diesel engine repair, brake repair, electrical and hydraulic diagnostics, and brake systems.
- Proficiency in estimating and service procedures.
- Strong knowledge of service technician duties and responsibilities.
- Ability to upsell services and products to customers effectively.
- Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric approach.
- Leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and mentor team members.
