YOUR MISSION (The Job Description):
The Spa Receptionist will play an important role for day-to-day and ownership of Spa Desk
The Spa Receptionists are responsible for guiding guests through treatment menu, accurately booking spa reservations and assisting guests with retail purchases.
The Spa Receptionist will be responsible for the implementation and monitoring of department objectives, standards and guidelines and other administrative processes.
The Spa Attendant will be responsible for providing an elevated level of guest service, though timely, engaging and attentive serve.
The Spa Attendant/Receptionist proactively greets, interact and assists team members, fostering a positive harmonious work environment.

The Nitty-Gritty:
This role will work closely with Spa Manager to:
- Assist guests in the usual manner, whether on the phone or in person
- Resolve customer complaints and issues beyond authority of staff to ensure guest satisfaction while operating within established guidelines
- Assist in training of policies and procedures of all new attendants/receptionists
- Assist in monthly inventory of retail supplies to track cost of sales and ensures company assets are accurately accounted for
- Take responsibility for questions or issues that may arise when supervisors are not present. Assist with additional job-related tasks as directed by Leadership
- Maintain cleanliness and hygienic environment, including light cleaning, stocking supplies and linen management..
- Provide food and beverage offerings as part of the spa experience
- Meet demands of a fast-paced environment
- Be knowledgeable about resort, spa offerings and treatment menu

- Review and comprehend all necessary documentation
- Use the equipment associated with the position, including but not limited to exercise equipment, spa facilities, cash register and computer scheduling system
- Effectively and efficiently move around work area
- Work physical in nature and requires the ability to balance, bend, carry, climb stairs and ladders, crawl, reach, squat and twist. These actions are required in order to assist guests in the proper use of equipment and to perform other job duties
- Lift up to 60 pounds and push and pull up to 100 pounds of towels, equipment and supplies
- Operate in a working environment that is subject to varying levels of cold, heat, wet/humid conditions, crowds and noise. Incumbents are at times subject to hazards such as slippery conditions. Proper safety precautions are taken. This position occasionally works outside and is subject to all weather conditions. Proper clothing is provided
- Minimum 1 year customer service experience, preferably in a spa or related environment
- Minimum age of 18
WOULD BE NICE TO HAVE'S
- Knowledge of spa, fitness and equipment preferred
