Legend ID is the Northwest’s leading Identification Management and Tracking solutions provider, based in Kent, WA supporting customers in Washington and Oregon. Our company is looking to grow substantially over the next few years. As a technology systems integrator we support and service identification equipment and software, label printers, access control, visitor/vendor tracking, asset tracking solutions and custom applications.
We are looking for a highly motivated professional to install and service our identification, tracking, and security products to new and existing customers. In this role, you will be responsible for electro-mechanical installations, operator training, preventative and emergency on-site maintenance of our products within a driving distance local territory.

DUTIES:
Unpacking, installing and setting up products at customer site. Products include: personal computers, application software, digital cameras, digital color plastic card printers, and plastic card embossers.
Providing detailed operator training on use of the system: configuration, database setup and links, changing supplies in printer, designing card formats, navigating the software.
Performing preventative maintenance of hardware (e.g. card printers and embossers). Cleaning units and replacing worn parts.
Repairing card jams, transport problems, poor image quality, system crashes, application software problems, database link issues, communications issues with host/network.
Remote customer support.
Some pre-scheduled Saturday work.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Electro-mechanical skills
- Experience working with printer hardware, firmware, drivers and database software
- Experience with installing programs and printers on a personal computer with networking and Database knowledge
- Troubleshooting skills
- Excellent communication skills with customers and management team
- Ability to travel daily within Washington & Oregon driving distance territory. Occasional overnight travel will be required and may be with short notice.
PREFERRED CANDIDATES:
- 2-3 years applicable work experience.
- Associates degree or military experience in a technical field.
- Reliable personal vehicle with proof of insurance with at least $100,000/$300,000 liability coverage.
- Clean driving record.
