Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Receptionist to join our team at M-Tech Performance. As the first point of contact for our customers, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, managing phone calls, scheduling appointments, and maintaining the overall efficiency of our shop, our team is dedicated to providing top-notch service. Responsibilities:
- Greet customers, answer phone calls, and respond to emails in a professional and friendly manner.
- Schedule appointments and services for customers, including oil changes, repairs, engine builds, maintenance, and other specialized services.
- Manage the shop's calendar and coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of tasks.
- Handle customer inquiries and concerns, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, including phone calls, emails, and appointments.
- Update customer records in out database and ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
- Prepare invoices and estimates for customers.
- Process payments and handle cash transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area, including the front desk and waiting area.
- Perform other administrative tasks as needed, such as filing, photocopying, and data entry.
- Assist technicians with tasks as needed, such as fetching parts or running errands.
- Coordinate with team managers to ensure seamless communication between departments.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Previous experience in a similar role ( e.g., receptionist, customer service) preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
Working Conditions:
- Work in a fast-paced shop environment with frequent noise from machinery and equipment.
- Travel to race tracks and other locations for events may be required.
Special Requirements:
- Must be able to handle confidential information regarding customer vehicles and projects.
- Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Must be able to maintain a high level of professionalism at all times.
