Job Duties : Responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining user assistance and training documentation for Oracle applications. Collaborate with multiple internal stakeholders to design our next generation of user assistance technology and implementing new embedded help delivery mechanisms that improve how technical information is delivered to our customers. Work with development teams to implement code for new user assistance mechanisms. May telecommute. (385.29332)
Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related technical field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in job offered or in a User Assistance Developer-related occupation.
Position requires:
- Experience with technical writing and/or technical curriculum development;
- Distill technical topics into cohesive learning objectives;
- Design course structure around learning objectives including relevant modules, lessons, and assessments;
- Develop modern, engaging course content and curriculum paths to enhance the learner experience using domain-specific tooling including XML, XHTML, XSL, DITA, CSS, REST, GIT
- or XML schemas, Adobe Camtasia, and/or general tools including Atlassian Confluence and Microsoft Office;
- Build cloud-specific technical content for conceptually complex areas by leveraging understanding of cloud computing fundamentals including DevOps, Compute, Storage, Network,
- Identity, and Console;
- Lead and drive cross-team or cross-LOB projects and initiatives;
- Participate in the interview process, conduct interviews, and maintain consistent leveling for candidates across the organization; and
- Provide technical mentoring to others on the team on Cloud Infrastructure products and services including by leveraging understanding of cloud computing fundamentals including
- DevOps, Compute, Storage, Network, Identity, and Console.
