The Communications Coordinator II will support the Powersports Sales Division by creating, routing for approval and finalizing bulletins and sales programs based upon concepts provided by Sales Promotion Management. The individual will be responsible for posting dealer communications to the Interactive Network, as well as ensuring all internal/external stakeholders are notified. The Communications Coordinator II will also be responsible for ensuring all consumer-facing promotions are accurate on the consumer website, dealer website, and point of purchase materials.
- Develop bulletin/program drafts based on program concepts/budget for new sales programs for review by Sales Promo Management. Finalize program drafts and route drafts to obtain final approval by department manager and National Sales Manager. Provide recommendations for improvements to program communications.
- Maintain dealer facing communications and applicable webpage visibility via the Interactive Network (iN).
- Ensure accuracy and on-time delivery of dealer communications and publications.
- Ensure accuracy and on-time updates of time sensitive information and Current offers on Honda consumer website.
- Support department special projects as assigned by Management to support department initiatives in a timely and accurate manner.
Qualifications, Experience, and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work-related experience
- 1-3 years in a job-related field with experience in internal/external customer/dealer facing communication development and creation
- Strong written and verbal skills (required)
- In-depth knowledge of powersports products and markets (desired)
- Attention to detail, reliable documentation, and persistence in open issues, including follow-up and resolution
- Able to design and develop communication and program drafts based upon provided concepts
- Ability to handle tasks individually
- Strong strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to operate well in complex, collaborative environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Ability to document business requirements and communicate this to others
- Strong planning, communication, and organization skills
- SAP experience
- Proficient in MS office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Adobe InDesign/photoshop experience
