The Process Engineer II position is responsible for the manufacturing process, product and equipment improvements for assigned manufacturing product lines. The position is also responsible for new product and material qualifications.

Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize and perform activities to define the manufacturing process.
- Manage the technical processes of manufacturing flow from raw material through finished product to customer.
- Perform product/process analysis for cost reduction, continuous improvement and improved efficiency.
- Prepare operating procedures and instructions for manufacturing processes.
- Provide technical support to manufacturing personnel to solve daily problems and establish safeguards to minimize their occurrence.
- Analyze returned product and work with customers to answer questions and concerns.
- Qualify new products and materials and implement them in the manufacturing processes.
Requirements:
- B.S. in Engineering; Ceramic Engineering or Materials Science Engineering preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience with a B.S. or 1-3 years of experience with a M.S in process / manufacturing engineering in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge and Experience is preferred in the following:
- Semiconductor or thin film electronics manufacturing
- Fundamentals of in-line sputtering equipment
- Wet etching and photolithography
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to communicate with all levels of within the organization.
- Continuous Improvement/Problem Solving skills.
- Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office tools.
- This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 CFR 120.15 is required.
