About Oddjob Hats
Oddjob Hats is a startup ecommerce company that specializes in the design, development, and sales of high quality hats - and they’re made specially for big head sizes! That’s right, there are actually a lot of of us out there with bigger heads, and Oddjob is THE brand for us.
Our founder Patrick is a 3x founder of e-commerce startups, and has experience scaling companies from the idea stage to 400+ employees. Oddjob Hats is his latest venture - and the company is looking to add to our early-stage team. Over the next year, we’re going to double in revenue, move into a larger headquarters, keep up the exciting momentum!
About the Role
As an eCommerce Operations Associate, your role is wide ranging with exposure to all the ins and outs of a fast growing ecommerce company. You will be working directly with the founder on a variety of tasks, such as:
- Managing Zendesk: our customer service ticketing system, and ensuring successful outcomes for all of our customer requests.
- Shopify order fulfillment: printing packing slips & shipping labels, and packing inventory into boxes for UPS pickup.
- Warehouse management: Strategizing inventory organization to maximize efficiency, managing inventory counts to ensure accuracy, and receiving new inventory from our suppliers overseas.
- Packaging supplies management: working with our packaging vendors to ensure proper levels of materials are available at all times.
- Special project management: numerous projects that require problem solving, initiative, and critical thinking to manage new initiates for the business. For example: text messaging replies for our marketing campaigns!
Overall, you can think of the role as an opportunity to gain exposure to all of the aspects of an early-stage eCommerce startup - and LEARN a ton of skills along the way.

Job Types: Full-time, Contract, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
