Due to our company growth the need for a Full Time or 1099 Project Manager has arised.

Responsibilities:
- Project Execution Strategy: Develops and implements, with management and department heads, the strategy for the execution of the Project(s) scope in order to achieve the project performance and cost goals.
- Communication: Provides adequate reporting to all stakeholders such as customer, business partners and management. Manages the internal and external communication loop.
- Project Process: Assumes full responsibility for the delivery of the allocated project(s) scope, from Hand Over from Sales until all obligations are complete. Takes necessary actions to improve the project process. Also provides feedback to Sales and other Business Functions on the performance of the Project and processes.
- Knowledge Transfer- Responsible for successful Knowledge Transfer.
- Project Organization: Develops and secures the necessary resources for the execution of the project. Organizes the project team and ensures that the team members have clearly identified roles, responsibilities, defined interfaces and are empowered within their scope of duties.
- Performance Management: Constantly monitors and reports the necessary key performances indicators (KPI). Takes immediately all necessary actions and decisions to guarantee financial, time, quality and safety performance to maximize the allocated project(s) scope’s goals achievements.
- Risk and Opportunities: Constantly updates and reviews the risk and opportunities of the Project. Evaluates and decides on actions that benefit the overall performance of the Project. Follows-up these actions, implementation and results.
- Project Planning: Develops and monitors the Master Time Schedule, manages Project float to ensure timely completion of the Project.
- Project Lead- Assist with implementation of department and business projects. These may include but are not limited to process development, restructuring efforts, improving customer results and technical assistance.
- Other duties as assigned.
Experience and Skill Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
- PMP Certification
Skills/Experience:
- 5+ years of experience in developing and executing project plans according to quality, cost and delivery specifications.
- Experience with WasteLinq is preferred.
- 3+ years of experience solving technical or organizational problems on cross-functional teams, with communication skills at an advanced level.
- 2+ years of experience as a team leader to indirect reports, with successful track record of identifying and promoting the right people on your team to the right places by harnessing and developing individual talents. Anticipates future skill and experience requirements to develop/hire people to fill these needs.
- 5+ years of proven experience managing multiple technical Projects or Programs, on-time delivery and on budget.
- 5+ years of experience making sound judgments and decisions; including the speed, quality and complexity.
- 3+ years of experience presenting technical topics to peers, higher management, and customers.
- Proficient in computer applications relevant to operational management.
Physical Requirements and Workplace Conditions:
- The employee must be able to lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- Employee is required to sit, stand, walk for extended periods.
- Travel will be required if needed to visit company locations across multiple states. Travel by car and airplane will be required.
- The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee will encounter while performing the essential job functions of this job.
- This position works in a typical office environment and will be required to be outdoor in the plant from time to time as needed. Safety glasses and closed toe shoes are always required when in the plant or warehouse.
