Position Overview: As the FPA Manager, you will play a critical role in driving the financial planning and analysis processes of the company. You will work closely with senior management, investors, and department heads to provide insightful analysis, strategic guidance, and decision support.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Planning:
- Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting process, collaborating with department heads to develop accurate and achievable financial plans.
- Develop sophisticated financial models to support long-term strategic planning and scenario analysis.
- Continuously refine and improve forecasting methodologies to enhance accuracy and agility in decision-making.
Performance Analysis:
- Provide comprehensive variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods to identify key drivers of performance.
- Generate actionable insights by analyzing financial and operational data, highlighting trends, opportunities, and risks.
- Develop and maintain KPI dashboards to monitor business performance and track progress towards strategic objectives.
Investor Relations:
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for investors, including performance summaries, variance analysis, and commentary.
- Assist in the preparation of investor presentations and participate in investor meetings as needed.
- Address investor inquiries and provide timely, accurate information to maintain transparency and trust.
Strategic Decision Support:
- Partner with senior management to evaluate strategic initiatives, investment opportunities, and business development projects.
- Conduct financial due diligence and ROI analysis to assess the viability and potential impact of proposed strategies.
- Provide ad hoc analysis and decision support to support key business decisions and drive value creation.
Process Improvement:
- Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes, enhance reporting capabilities, and improve data integrity.
- Implement best practices in FPA to optimize efficiency and scalability as the company continues to grow.
- Actively participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives to drive operational excellence and organizational effectiveness.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field; MBA or advanced degree preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive experience in FPA, financial analysis, or investment banking; prior experience in a start-up or private equity-backed environment strongly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting, and analysis; advanced Excel skills required.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to distill complex financial concepts into clear, concise insights.

- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment and effectively manage competing priorities.
- CPA or CFA designation a plus.
