Job Description
Be part of our critical care team in this fast-paced step-down unit with low staff-to-patient ratios. There is an opportunity to work with the CVICU team and care for complex cardiac patients as well. Schedule is based on 12-hour shifts with an every third weekend rotation. Telemetry/ICU experience and ability to read EKG’s is preferred but will consider enthusiastic learners. General Medical floor experience in a hospital setting will also be considered.
The registered professional nurse assumes accountability for the nursing care of a patient. The nurse performs the primary functions of assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating the care of his/her patients.
Qualifications
Required:

Current RN licensure in the State of Illinois.

BSN within 3 years of hire.

Current CPR certification through the American Heart Association.

Must be competent in basic nursing and computer skills.

Minimum 1 year of Telemetry experience.
