WE ARE CURRENTLY LOOKING FOR A TECHNICAL PRODUCT MANAGER.
This position can be 100% remote.
The Technical Product Manager is a radiology workflow and technology expert. They define, prioritize, and plan updates to the vRad radiology software platform, balancing input from internal and external users including Operations teams, Sales teams, Integration Teams, and IT Executive Steering Committee. The Technical Product Manager prepares software roadmaps and presents them to stakeholders. The Technical Product Manager works closely with Software Engineering to rapidly advance vRad’s technology platform to meet vRad’s ever evolving business, financial and clinical objectives.
This position requires occasional business travel, with trips lasting approximately 1-3 days in duration. The success of this position will be driven by their consultative approach as they cultivate relationships, manage expectations and articulate comprehensive solutions that expand and improve vRad’s suite of software applications.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Guide the evolution of vRad’s suite of software applications

Act as product owner on multiple agile software development teams

Maintain and prioritize the product backlog

Cultivate and communicate product vision

Represent customers and stakeholders

Communicate status externally

Works with team to eliminate barriers

Create and manage software roadmaps for software applications

Provide recommendations regarding technology investments to the IT Executive Steering Committee

Meet with customers to identify customer needs

Review, analyze, and evaluate business and user needs and translate to software systems specifications

Maintain current knowledge of similar software products

Work collaboratively with team members to support a rapidly growing information technology intensive business

Assist in estimating, planning, and scheduling software development tasks

Strong technical and problem-solving skills

Effectively communicate with all levels of the company as well as external customers
Qualifications/Education:
-
Bachelor’s Degree in a related field or 5+ years of software development experience
-
5+ years of experience in healthcare or medical industry
-
Experience with DICOM, HL7, and other medical imaging standards

Demonstrated experience writing specifications and documentation for the dissemination of work within a software development organization

Demonstrated technical knowledge in RIS/PACS

Deep understanding of radiology workflows and needs of radiologists, technologists, and other healthcare professionals

Job Classification:
Sedentary– Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently. A sedentary job involves sitting most of the time.
The salary for this position is $110,000.00-$130,000.00. The range for this role represents the numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range. In addition to base salary, vRad offers eligible team members and their dependents comprehensive health benefits and programs including medical, vision, dental, life insurance and more.
