Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Community Manager to oversee the daily operations of our residential community. The ideal candidate will possess strong customer service skills and a background in property management.
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the property, including maintenance, leasing, and resident relations
- Implement marketing strategies to attract new residents and retain current ones
- Conduct property tours and process lease applications
- Ensure timely rent collection and handle delinquent accounts
- Coordinate property maintenance and repairs
- Negotiate contracts with vendors for services and supplies
- Administer lease agreements and enforce community policies
- Knowledge of fair housing and affordable housing programs such as Section 8 and LIHTC
Experience:
- Previous experience in property management or related field
- Proficiency in OnSite or similar property management software
- Strong administrative skills with attention to detail
- Ability to maintain high occupancy and to retain residents
- Familiarity with property maintenance practices
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
