Job Summary:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Preschool Teacher to join our team. As a Preschool Teacher, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for young children to learn and grow. You will develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum, foster social and emotional development, and provide a safe and inclusive classroom setting.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the preschool curriculum
- Create a positive and engaging learning environment for children
- Provide individualized attention and support to meet the diverse needs of each child
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through play-based activities
- Collaborate with parents and guardians to ensure open communication and involvement in their child's education
- Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback to parents as needed
- Maintain a safe and clean classroom environment
- Adhere to all licensing regulations and maintain accurate records
Experience:
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is preferred
- Knowledge of early childhood education principles, theories, and practices
- Ability to develop age-appropriate curriculum and lesson plans
- Strong understanding of literacy education in early childhood
- Experience working with diverse student populations
- Proficient in lesson planning and classroom management techniques
- Knowledge of physical education activities suitable for young children
