Position Purpose: The Workforce Planning Specialist has the primary responsibility for planning and coordinating schedules for teaching staff across Lionheart.

Job Title: Workforce Planning Specialist
Reports To: Chief Operating Officer
Compensation: $55,000 - $65,000 per year based on experience

Analyze and evaluate workforce metrics to better optimize academy teaching schedules to match enrollment.

Establish and maintain schedules for each academy, working directly with academy leaders and operations leadership.

Monitor schedules in partnership with academy leaders to ensure optimized application and troubleshoot issues.

Evaluate forecasted enrollment to plan for needed hiring for each academy.

Develop and communicate predictive models for staffing needs, taking into account enrollment, teacher time off, and projected backfill needs.

Partner with academy and regional leaders and Talent Acquisition to build plans for teacher requisition timing and needs.

Evaluate financial impact ratio for increased ratio vs. child revenue.

Partner with operations leadership, HR / payroll, and finance teams to prepare and publish weekly metrics related to payroll, staffing, and projected enrollment.

Evaluate metrics to identify and recommend opportunities for streamlining and optimization.

At least 2 years of experience in workforce scheduling/planning

Ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders

Strong written and verbal communication skills

Demonstrated ability to learn software and systems, analyze data, and draw conclusions from data

Experience in center-based child care preferred
