Assistant Corporate Controller
($118,000 – $150,000)
We are looking for an Assistant Corporate Controller to be based in the metropolitan Atlanta, GA area. (Remote-work position with occasional travel for face-to-face meetings).
We are looking for an aspiring, licensed accounting professional with real-world involvement applying GAAP or PCC alternatives in a growth-oriented environment; generating consolidated GAAP financial statements including disclosures; managing financial-close processes of the company's reporting entities; and collaborating with the company's third-party service providers.

Skills You Bring:
- Practiced in risk-ranking balance sheet accounts/processes and related key controls.
- Practiced in guiding accounting and finance personnel through professional standards.
- Accomplished in periodic close and reporting processes.
- Experienced in ASC 842, Leases.
- Experienced managing external audits/examinations.
- Experienced with ERPs. (Microsoft Dynamics AX a plus; Oracle-like).
- Advanced proficiency with MS office software, particularly Excel (vlookups, sum-ifs, pivot tables, text-to-columns, etc.).
- Experienced in SQL a plus.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting. Master's degree a plus.
- Active CPA license.
- Minimum of 4 years' experience in public accounting.
- 8+ years of overall general accounting process/transaction experience.
- 4+ years of managing trained or licensed accountants.
What you will be doing:
- Standardizing or evaluating differences in applying GAAP standards and company accounting policies across reporting entities.
- Managing two Accounting Managers responsible for the trial balance activity of Trulite U.S. and Trulite Canadian operations. Providing guidance to accounting leadership of non-Trulite-integrated entities.
- Contributing to accurate, timely business results through active, cross-functional participation with operations, finance, and corporate teams.
- Reviewing priority and complex balance sheet account reconciliations/analyses.
- Generating consolidated GAAP financial statements, including compiling data for disclosures.
