The role of the Senior Technical Product Engineer is to support and enable business change. This position is responsible for building strong business understanding and relationships to enable the delivery of technology solutions that deliver the intended business value in the spirit of the Agile Scrum Methodology.
We are looking for someone with strong analytical and organizational skills to transform data into insights, distill requirements, and develop processes. They will also be able to define clear, easy-to-digest metrics that resonate with the business. While a deep knowledge in products and applications is not necessary, previous experience will be a plus. The candidate should have excellent communication skills, business maturity, and feel comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Gathering, developing, coordinating, and maintaining business requirements for various projects and/or systems from initial phase to final implementation, assuring requirements meet standards; troubleshooting, coordinating, and maintaining production systems/programs/applications; assisting in maintenance and communication of project status reports and tracking

Leveraging cloud solutions knowledge (such as AWS) for recommendations

Provide efficient project processes and deliverables to shorten the project life cycle, where applicable

Works with application support and development team to fix software bugs and escalated issues

Lead resolution to issues with interfacing systems built on different technologies

Facilitate and participate in regular project status reviews

Convert high-level User Requirements into executable, detailed User Stories to enable development

Create and maintain the product backlog

Conduct planning sessions with the teams to prioritize work in upcoming sprints

Experience in API practice/program at a large organization

Strong experience in discovery, identification, and documentation of APIs

Ability to work with multiple IT and business teams to gather and document API requirements

Engage directly and daily with delivery teams to execute the project

Ensure product acceptance and readiness at key phases of the delivery cycle

Develop communication materials and lead communication efforts around the product, priorities and future roadmaps

Attend and lead design sessions with the product team
