CAD Designer / Drafter
Responsibilities:
Proficiency with Auto CAD 2024, organizes and manages drawing sets; proficiency with site layout, right-of-way mapping, plan/profile and section detail elements; calculation of slope and elevations. Ability to retain learned procedures and skills from week to week; proficiency in English, Grammar and Spelling; knowledge of local agency design criteria and graphic standards.
Accuracy and quality in what we produce is our bottom line.
Computer-aided designer / drafter to assist the Project Civil Engineer with preparation of Civil municipal land development drawings for sites, plan/profile drawings in accordance with company-established standards, report exhibits and covers; reports to the Project Civil Engineer; organizes and manages project drawing files according to established company standards.
Must have reliable transportation to arrive at work place on time; Drug Free (zero tolerance) and Smoke Free work place. West Houston Office.
Hours: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., 1-hr. lunch, M-F.
Pay Rate / Range: Hourly / $25 - $30 depending on prior experience and qualifications as a CAD Designer.
Prior office experience as a Civil CAD designer / drafter with municipal drawings is a must.
