It is the primary responsibility of the Houseperson to assist the Guest Room Attendant’s in performance of their duties. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and policies, practices, and procedures.

Performs other duties as requested by senior management.

Ensures that assigned areas are kept clean and neat.

Cleans ash urns constantly, cleans and dusts lamps, mirrors, pictures, etc. Mops and cleans all marble or tile floors in assigned area.

Delivers requested items, such as refrigerators, pillows, rollways, cribs, etc., to guest rooms.

Empties all trash and linen from the Guest Room Attendants’ carts as needed.

Maintain inventory levels, delivers supplies to assigned lockers, and stocks it.

Follows Quick Flood Response procedures, safety procedures, general clean, pull room procedures, and quarterly mattress-flipping procedure.

Cleans restrooms in assigned areas, vacuums all halls, lobbies, and edges. Cleans all hall railings, marks on wallpaper, stairwells, and lockers.

Performs all other job related duties as assigned.
