We are seeking a friendly and attentive Front Desk Agent to join our dynamic hospitality team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will be responsible for ensuring their stay is nothing short of exceptional. Responsibilities:
- Greet guests upon arrival and departure, offering personalized assistance and concierge services as needed
- Check-in and check-out guests, handling room assignments and ensuring seamless transitions
- Manage and maintain the front desk area, including answering and directing phone calls, responding to guest requests, and performing night audits
- Provide exceptional customer service, resolving any issues promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure guests' needs are met and exceeded
- Handle cash and credit transactions, as well as operate a point-of-sale system
- Maintain accurate records of guest interactions and hotel operations
- Demonstrate a strong commitment to guest relations, ensuring that every interaction leaves a lasting positive impression
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service environment preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing circumstances
- Proficiency in English, with the ability to speak multiple languages (bilingual or multilingual) a plus
- Basic computer skills and experience with front desk software
- Knowledge of hotel operations and hospitality standards
- Ability to lift and move moderate weights, as well as stand for extended periods
- Friendly and approachable demeanor, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
