*Responsibilities:*
* Supervise and support students in completing homework assignments.
* Plan and facilitate age-appropriate educational activities and games.
* Foster a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
* Encourage and assist students in developing essential study skills.
* Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding students' progress.
* Maintain a clean and organized classroom.
*Qualifications:*
*Preferred -*
* A passion for working with children and helping them succeed.
* Previous experience in teaching, tutoring, or childcare is a plus.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Patience and the ability to create a supportive learning environment.
* Basic knowledge of child development and educational best practices.
* Ability to pass background checks and meet all state licensing requirements.
*Required - *
* Minimum of 48 college units, AA, OR Passed PareED Certificate
*Schedule:*
* Part-time position, typically from 2pm to 6pm on weekdays. (Schedule may vary depending on school bell schedule and ratio)
