This is a highly visible and fast-paced opportunity for a Contract Billing Administrator to provide Billing, Contract Review, and Project Management services internally and externally. We are looking for an energetic, self-motivated Contract Billing Administrator in South Plainfield, NJ. This hybrid role will be based out of our South Plainfield location and servicing our clients throughout the NJ and NYC area.
AIA Contract Administrator
Essential Duties
- Responsible for improving the accuracy of AIA billings, information, and the review of documents
- Handling weekly Finance Contract Meetings
- Communications between clients in the Finance team
- Lead oversight of AIA Billing and the Accounts Payable
- Monthly meetings with operations to go over material and labor costs that will go into billing current projects
- Expert level of knowledge of Contract Bill Dates
- Expert level of knowledge of Lien Dates
- Expert level of knowledge of AIA Billing
Responsibilities
- Change Orders
- Contract Compilation
- Information
- Content Confirmation – W-9, COI, etc.
- AIA Billing
- Billing, Contract dates, Portal Uploads
- Conditional Progress, Conditional Finals for Contractors, and Subs
- Update Change out orders
- Work independently in an efficient and timely manner to keep files accurate and up-to-date
Requirements
- 3 to 5 years of direct experience with AIA Billing and Contracts Administration in NJ and NYC
- Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail
- Able to work with deadlines, timelines, and understand that there may be times that require some overtime.
- 2-year associate degree in Accounting is preferred, but equivalent accounting experience will be considered
Salary
- Base Salary is based on Experience; 80K to 90K plus benefits
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
