Job Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and experienced Construction Project Manager to oversee paint, stucco, siding and general construction projects in Summit and Eagle County, Colorado. The successful candidate will be responsible for the end-to-end management of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Project Manager will play a crucial role in coordinating with clients, managing project setups, overseeing crews, maintaining quality control, and ensuring effective communication throughout the project lifecycle.
Responsibilities:
1. Estimating
- Work with our estimating team and to prepare customer estimates/proposals for paint, stucco, siding and general construction projects
2. Project Setup:
- Schedule and coordinate with customers for project initiation.
- Obtain necessary permits and approvals.
- Organize equipment staging and logistics for efficient project execution.
3. Crew Management:
- Contract and manage services with construction crews.
- Clearly define project scope, quality expectations, and safety guidelines.
- Handle change orders and ensure proper documentation.
- Conduct final quality checks and manage punch lists.
4. Quality Control:
- Ensure subcontractors adhere to quality standards, appearance, and professionalism.
- Implement and monitor quality control processes.
- Address and resolve any issues affecting project quality.
5. Customer Liaison:
- Maintain regular communication with customers, providing weekly updates on project progress and timeline.
- Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly.
- Foster positive client relationships throughout the project.
6. Budget Management:
- Effectively manage project budgets, including labor, materials, and rental equipment costs.
- Monitor and control expenses to ensure projects stay within budget.
- Implement cost-saving measures without compromising quality.
7. Project Documentation:
- Capture and maintain comprehensive documentation through job site photos and notes.
- Generate weekly customer reports detailing project status, accomplishments, and upcoming milestones.
- Ensure all project documentation is organized and easily accessible.
8. Account Management
- Maintain existing relationships with mountain clients and identify new business opportunities.
Compensation: $75,000 - $125,000 depending on experience; plus full benefits package including paid vacation, health insurance and 401(k) matching.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or related field (preferred).
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager with a successful track record.
- Strong knowledge of construction processes, methods, and materials.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Understanding of local building codes and regulations in Summit and Eagle County, Colorado.
