Description
This is a part-time position in retail sales in our tasting room in Sacramento and local Farmer's Markets with an emphasis on sales of oils and balsamic vinegars stored in stainless steel tanks in our storefronts. The main emphasis of this position is to support senior sales team by conducting inventories of merchandise, cleaning tanks and refilling tanks and bottles on a daily basis. The employee will be expected to learn about olive oil and vinegar products we sell in our storefronts and convey that to customers. This is a fast-paced work environment and employees will be expected to perform at a high level with focus on efficiencies while providing quality work service. That said, it is a great store where customers and employees have a lot of fun experiencing the products and often comment on how much they enjoy the experience. Employee will participate in our Farmer's Market Program and work under supervision of Farmer's Market Lead. Famer's Markets are pop-up events and employee is required to have a valid driver's license and good driving record.
Training and Trial Period
The employee is expected to focus on learning the business model and best practices, providing excellent support to the team and excellent customer service to our patrons. Employee is required to work both weekdays and weekends. Trial Period 90 days.
Location
Shifts will be at storefront located at 131 J St in Old Sacramento performing the above mentioned services. Farmer's Markets vary in location but generally within 30 miles of our store location in Old Sacramento Waterfront.

Tasks
The employee will do a variety of tasks including opening and closing duties, , merchandise facing, load inventory and storage, bottle labeling and filling, retrieving stock from downstairs storage area, taking out trash/recycles to dumpsters, oil and vinegar tank cleaning and filling, product sales on store floor, operation of cash register and credit processing equipment, store cleaning, among other duties.
Attire
Attire is business casual and employee will be supplied with Chefs’ Olive Mix apron to wear. Comfortable clothing is advised for load intake and storage hours.
