Job Summary:
We are Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Account Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a solid technical background in materials or mechanical engineering and over five years of experience in the automotive industry. This position offers the opportunity to work with international teams, manage complex projects, and drive business development with key customers like BOSCH, ZF, ASTEMO, NEXTEER, TENNECO, and AUTOLIV across the United States.
Responsibilities:
- Regional Business Development:
- Identify and develop business opportunities with target customers in the automotive industry.
- Foster strong relationships with key accounts to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
- Regularly visit target customer sites to strengthen relationships and identify business opportunities.
- Project Management:
- Lead and manage projects involving international teams, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project goals.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to drive project success and resolve any issues that arise.
- Business Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement business strategies for target customers, considering competitive environments and competitors' benchmarks.
- Analyze market trends and customer feedback to inform strategic planning and decision-making.
- Profit and Loss Management:
- Oversee regional business profit and loss, ensuring financial targets are met or exceeded.
- Monitor and report on financial performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
- Team Development and Management:
- Develop and manage a high-performing team, providing guidance, support, and professional development opportunities.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture that encourages innovation and excellence.
- Market Promotion:
- Promote Silent3Partners' products and services within the target market.
- Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to enhance brand visibility and market presence.
Requirements:
- Technical Know-How:
- Strong technical background in materials or mechanical engineering.
- Ability to understand and communicate complex technical concepts to customers and team members.
- Industry Experience:
- More than five years of experience in the automotive industry.
- Preferred experience as a sales or application manager in the automotive supplier or components business field.
- Project Leadership:
- Proven experience in project leadership, with a preference for candidates who have managed international teams.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Problem-Solving Skills:
- Demonstrated the ability to tackle challenging tasks and find effective solutions.
- A proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
- Communication Skills:
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with diverse, intercultural teams.
- Strong interpersonal skills to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Experience with Key Customers:
- Experience working with BOSCH, ZF, ASTEMO, NEXTEER, TENNECO, or AUTOLIV, understanding their purchasing or engineering processes.
- Tier 1 experience with at least five years of working experience with target customers.
- Willingness to Travel:
- Regular business travel is required for this role
