Office Manager/ Executive Assistant

Texas Independent Exploration (TIE) is a mid-sized privately held Oil and Gas E&P and is actively looking for an Office Manager/ Executive Assistant in our Houston, TX office. Must be a self-starter, detail oriented, able to multi-task, and capable of growing with the company. This position is full-time and onsite (hybrid is currently not optional).
The essential job duties include, but are not to be limited to the following:
- Oversee and support all administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly
- Support company Executive and Technical Team
- Develop office policies and procedures, and ensure they are implemented appropriately
- Coordinate office layout planning and office moves, and with managing and maintaining IT infrastructure
- Implement records retention program
- Provide other administrative support as necessary, including scheduling group meetings, maintaining calendars, doing research, and other requests from President
- Coordinate event planning
- Manage office supplies inventory and place orders as necessary
- Maintain office equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
- Facilitate orientation process for new employees
- Facilitate employee benefit programs
- Ability to organize multiple priorities, tasks, and deadlines effectively
- Exception attention to detail
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and conflict management skills across all levels of the organization
- Very strong computer skills (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) required
- Must be willing to multi- task in a fast pace corporate environment
- Manage Corporate books with board data and entity information
- Handle investment statements, banking statements, deposits
- Manage phone systems, voicemails, setup and issues
- Ability to handle multiple Outlook inboxes and data
- Website management
- Assist President with daily reminders, calendar management and delegation lists
Minimum Qualifications:
- 5+years’ experience with an Oil and Gas E and P
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or human resources preferred
- Prior Office Management and HR experience
- Knowledge of HR laws and regulations

Pay: $41,569.00 - $90,000.00 per year
