Receptionist Job Description
VCIL is seeking a morning receptionist, 15 hours per week.
Essential Functions include Answering incoming calls, direct calls to appropriate staff, take messages.
· Sort and distribute mail (incoming and outgoing)
· Assist Staff with photocopying and shredding
· Support staff with purchase order process
· Accept all deliveries and manage inventory of office supplies
· Respond to incoming email inquiries and send to appropriate staff.
Qualifications:
· Understand and have a commitment to the Independent Living movement, and the mission and goals of VCIL.
· Positive attitude can multi-task and has a willingness to learn.
· Strong problem-solving skills
· Ability to work, respectfully with peers, staff and other organizations.
· Research and Computer Skills
· Time management skills
· Excellent Communication and interpersonal skills.
