New England Fertility Institute is a well-established, bustling fertility clinic in Stamford, Connecticut, that specializes in egg donation and surrogacy. We're seeking a coordinator with at least 2-3 years of coordination experience at either a fertility clinic or surrogacy and/or egg donation agency. We will consider a remote position for the right candidate.
The position includes management of intended parents, egg donors and surrogates. Flexibility, adaptability, compassion, and patience in this position are key.
Broad responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, supporting egg donors and surrogates from start to completion of their donation journey; guiding the donor and surrogate through pre-IVF cycle preparations, facilitating communications between donor, surrogate, and medical teams; and completing administrative tasks to support the clinical team.
Candidates must be able to communicate effectively, prioritize conflicting tasks, and stay organized. Superior customer service skills and close attention to detail are essential.
Tasks will include:
- Act as the main contact for the intended parent(s), egg donor, surrogate, fertility specialists, attorneys, therapists, and others involved in the cycle
- Consistent follow up with fertility clinics, attorneys, escrow agents, therapists, and other professionals to ensure efficient progress through each cycle
- Schedule all medical screening and testing for all parties
- Ensure FDA forms and procedure consent forms are completed
- Assist with matching intended parents with egg donors
- Work in tandem with other departments throughout a surrogacy and/or egg donation journey to provide the necessary information to the intended parent(s)
- Update and maintain critical cycle information in our electronic medical record (EMR)
- Act as the key point of contact and provide remarkable emotional and logistical support when necessary for our intended parent(s), donors, and surrogates during the cycle, even after normal business hours.
What you'll need:
- 2-3 years of experience as a coordinator at either a fertility clinic or a surrogacy and/or egg donation agency is required
- Experience using an EMR and Microsoft Office suite
- Bachelor’s degree or higher preferred
- Exceptional work ethic and ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Excellent verbal and written communications
- Ability to work well in a very fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and an individualized, compassionate approach to patient care
