Summary of Job Duties:
Prepares, seasons, and cooks meats, vegetables, desserts, and other foodstuffs for consumption in accordance with specified recipes as well as guest request.
Specific and Essential Responsibilities and Duties:
- Prepares food orders per specifications for Guests
- Adjusts thermostat controls to regulate temperature of grills, and deep fryer
- Measures and mixes ingredients according to recipe to prepare, salads, desserts, sauces
- Grills and deep fry’s meats, chicken and fish
- Adds seasoning to foods during mixing or cooking
- Observes and tests foods being cooked by either pressure testing and/or use of a thermometer determine that it is cooked and observing proper cooking times
- Portions food on serving plates
- Performs other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Must have at least one-year experience in volume kitchen specifically with hot food preparation
- Knife and basic cooking skills required
- Specialized knowledge in basic cooking and sanitation
- Basic written and verbal English skills
- Work varied shifts
Preferred:
- Six (6) months to one (1) year of experience in a similar hotel setting
- Bilingual
License:
Machinery or Work Equipment Used:
- Grill, broiler, stove, oven Hobart machines, deep fryer, salamander
- Professional grade cutlery
