Snapshot of the role: This person will be responsible for purchase order processing, quotations, return merchandise authorization and shipment tracking of customer orders as well as provide support for customer inquiries and requests.
II.
The Position
Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm (40 hours/week)
Start date: As soon as possible
Location: Foster City, CA
Vacation: 15 days per year
Duties/Responsibilities:
-Process, expedite, and input customer Purchase Orders and Quotation Requests in SAP B1 by exercising approved authority within given guidelines/policies to ensure completed delivery and satisfaction of customer orders.
- Assists with processing and troubleshooting e-commerce orders and web-based requests
- Provides timely responses to customer requests/needs, inquiries, and concerns. Function as liaison between customers and company associates to facilitate quick resolutions of customer questions
- Phone management - questions and inquiries
- Maintain customer records and files
- Actively participate in making outbound calls and providing promotional information to customers.
- Adhere to company RMA policy and documentation of customer identified issues
- Prepare thank you emails and notes for high order customers
- Make follow-up calls for open orders or quotations
- Fulfilling customer catalog requests
- Maintenance of customer data
- Open to other tasks and duties ie. Shipping and Receiving of goods

Qualifications
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Database entry/management experience plus but not required
- Experience working with SAP (ERP software) a plus but not required
- Strong computer skills. Proficiency in working with Microsoft Office software is required
- Ability to speak a second language is a plus
