Job Description
Mountain Empire Dental is seeking an Insurance Coordinator to join our busy Dental team. This position will be responsible for posting insurance payments, verifying dental insurance benefits, obtaining prior authorizations, filing claims and claims follow-up to ensure timely completion of claims. Must have exceptional working knowledge of dental insurance benefits, allowable and contractual adjustments.
Monday - Thursday, 8:00 - 5:00

Required Skills:
- Strong understanding of the Insurance Industry,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, NEA) and other basic office software programs
- Ability to multi-task and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment with short attention spans and strong organizational skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to work independently as well as part of a team environment
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week

Experience:
- Insurance verification: 1 year (Preferred)
