Highmark Home Services is hiring an experienced Lead Carpenter. This position is responsible for overseeing and performing a variety of skilled carpentry and handyman tasks such as repairs, warranty work and finish work on new construction and remodel projects. This role involves managing projects from start to finish and ensuring high-quality workmanship. Must be self-sufficient, and well-rounded in all areas of home improvement construction.
Pay: $35 - $38 per hour depending on experience.
Responsibilities:
Perform multiple tasks relating to overall carpentry which include but aren’t limited to:
- Window and door setting
- Trim work
- Siding repair and replacement
- Minor roof replacement
- Shingle replacement
- Communication with clients and management Project Management.

Qualifications:
- 5+ years of carpentry experience.
- Knowledge of siding products and suppliers- vinyl, steel, LP, Hardie.
- Knowledge of roofing components and suppliers.
- Must be able to walk roofs and complete roofing repairs.
- Ability to use a siding brake.
- Proficiency in carpentry techniques, tools, and materials.
- Strong understanding of building codes, safety regulations, and industry standards.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications.
- Valid driver’s license with a good driving record and ability to pass an MVR screening.
- Must pass a background check.
- Valid DOT Medical Card or the ability to obtain DOT Medical Card.
