About Waypoint:
Waypoint offers comprehensive services, including a special purpose private school for children with autism and other developmental disabilities, case management and outpatient therapy services for children and adults, and residential and in-home supports for adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities.
About the role:
Waypoint is looking for people who are able to directly support the people living in the program and be a leader for the direct care staff working there. The Residential Program Assistant is an integral part of the flow of communication, support system for residents, ensuring the program runs smoothy, and a resource for the staff and administrator. This position is not responsible for direct supervision, but does assist with organizing all aspects of the program from posting open hours to ensuring the groceries are purchased to communicating with a member’s physician. If you like to have a variety of tasks to complete during a day, want to make a difference in people’s lives, and are able to balance multiple demands on your time this is the job for you. Waypoint offers 4 day work weeks, premium pay, and paid on the job training. To be considered you must have some experience working with people with IDD in a residential setting.
