The IREM DALLAS CHAPTER seeks an Executive Director to lead the organization in overall strategy, program development, fundraising, membership, and day-to-day operations. This individual will work closely with the Board of Directors, staff, volunteers, and external partners to successfully implement the organization's mission and vision. This position requires an experienced and successful leader with strong business and financial acumen. The Executive Director will be the external face of the organization and will embody an authentic, enthusiastic passion for our mission. The IREM DALLAS CHAPTER is a well-regarded and unique Commercial Real Estate organization. IREM Dallas is approximately 600 members strong and one of the largest Chapters in IREM. Our mission is to add value to the profession of Real Estate Professionals and provide a strong alliance between our members and the Community in which we live. We are dedicated to supporting our members through education, ethical practices, and informative programming.
Job Summary:
The Chapter Executive Director will provide essential support to the Chapter Board of Directors and various committees, ensuring smooth administrative operations and effective communication. This role involves managing office tasks, maintaining membership records, coordinating board meetings, handling financial entries, contributing to newsletters and social media outlets, and program/event planning. The Chapter Executive Director acts as a liaison between IREM National and the IREM Dallas Chapter, promotes membership growth. The ideal candidate is organized, highly communicative, proficient in QuickBooks, and capable of working independently from a hybrid office. Some travel required. IAE preferred or willing to pursue.
Leadership Support – Board of Directors, Elections, IREM Conference Participation, Succession Plan and Recognition, Annual Plan and Strategic Plan.
Administration – Governing Documents, Data Security and Risk Management, Incorporation.
Financial Management – Bank Accounts, Key Financial Documents, Budget, Financial Reporting/Taxes, Accounting Standard Policies, & Reserves.
Member Services and Industry Engagement – Chapter Events and Programs, Recruitment and Retention, Education, CPM Candidate Guidance and Mentoring, Chapter Communication & Public Relations, Legislative Outreach.
